First Time Installation
In order to install VGP3 for the first time on your system follow these steps:
- Download the executable for your Operating System from the VGP3 website. Unpack the archive and drag the resulting "VGP3" folder (the one containing the "VirtualGP3" application icon) wherever you want on your disk(s). You can place the "VGP3" folder where you like, but do not remove the "VirtualGP3" application from the "VGP3" folder
- Be sure to have a properly working internet connection and start the "VirtualGP3" application. Follow the on-screen instructions and let the VGP3 updater/installer download and install all the required files
- When installation is completed, press the ESC key to exit the VGP3 updater/installer. Start again the "VirtualGP3" application to run the simulator
If something goes wrong during the installation process, you may install VGP3 manually. In that case, download the main VGP3 archive from the VGP3 website, unpack it and place the unpacked VGP3 main folder (the one that contains all the game data) wherever you want on your disk(s); then, simply drag the "VirtualGP3" application into the VGP3 main folder

Updating a Previous Installation
- Make a backup of your previous VGP3 installation and drag the new/updated "VirtualGP3" application into your previous "VGP3" main folder
- Be sure to have a properly working internet connection and launch the "VirtualGP3" application. The updater/installer will download and install all the required patches/updates in your "VGP3" main folder.
- Exit the updater/installer and start again the "VirtualGP3" application to run the simulator

Uninstallation
To uninstall VGP3, simply delete the VGP3 main folder. No other action is required because VGP3 doesn’t span garbage files around your disk(s) (DLLs, config files, register entries and so on)!
