- A Final Note on Track Designing
TrackDesigner3, as well as other VGP3 tools, uses a custom, OpenGL-based GUI in order to offer a consistent, platform-independent user interface. Many controls should be intuitive and self-explanatory, there may be some differences, however, in the "look and feel" experience it's worth to point out:
- Text-inserting controls (text boxes) require to press the "Return" or "Enter" key on the keyboard, in order to take effect.
- Do NOT use spaces in file names! Spaces in material or texture file names may prevent TKD3 from working correctly.
- Buttons whose name ends with a "?" symbol are on-off toggle-buttons, they turn red when the option is "on".
- Windows cannot be closed using the standard "close window" widget of your Operating System. Instead, use the "OK" or "Quit"/"Close" buttons
