A3e File Format

This guide documents the most important files used by A3e, the VGP3 3d engine.

Originally designed as a custom, general purpose 3d engine, A3e V1.0 was used for the output of VGP2, the predecessor of VGP3.

A3e has then been continuously updated and improved, and the latest version forms the foundation of the VGP3 graphics output.

This guide refers to the latest version of A3e, V5.0.
